Summary 25 years ago, the fiendish harbinger Blackquill attempted to conquer the Southern Zanban with hordes of crazed animals and cruel fiends. Ezreal, the infamous Hunter was hired on Zanban behalf. He fought back against the animals, monsters, and the cult. Ezreal cornered the cult of Blackquill in its temple, Ezreal himself fired a great arrow that split the cult unholy altar in two. This arrow has been a key part of a ritual that has kept the monsters from returning. Until two months ago, Zanban priests have performed this ceremony in the reconsecrated temple on the night of the new moon, but the relic recently went missing. The church of Old Deadeye asked that you track down who stole the relic and return it before the monsters break free once more.

Asuka Eariler today was going By the church to Get something from a nearby store Then out of the corner of his eye he saw a priest walk up to him from behind him ' Good Sir we require assistance' the priest says from behind him. Asuka ignores the priest and pushs his wheelchair forward.
The priest grabs the back of his wheelchair before Asuka Can say anything The Priest says ' Please we truly do need help we.. we'll pay you.' This caught Asuka's attention he wasnt in desprate need for money but he doubts any task the churchs gives him would be that difficult. 'Fine Whatever' The priest gives him the summary of what happened and Asuka belives he is down wright insane and believes that some petty thief was looking for quick cash and wouldve sold it by now by he accepts the task anyways

As the sailor was sitting in a pub, enjoying a good meal which was accompanied by a lot of booze. Mervyn was bored, he had done quite some cage fights lately, earning him some good cash, cash was something that should be rolling, the more the sailor earned the more he would splurge. A glimpse on his phone showed a text from one of the people who set him up with jobs. Apparently there was something missing, he wasn't a dog but Mervyn thought that it wouldn't be too hard to retrieve a stolen thing. The sailor gulped down his beer and left the money on the counter " Thanks mate " he burped walking out following the location sent to his phone.

Shinzu blinked as his light green hoodie fluttered against the wind. It took a moment to register, but from across the street he was certain he could spot a man dressed as a priest assaulting a younger man in a wheelchair. Is this what the church has been reduced to? Grumbling, Shinzu tightened his grip around the plastic bag in his left hand as he marched towards the priest. The carton of orange juice, eggs and vegetables inside rattled softly as Shinzu made his way over. Evil-doers wouldn’t go unpunished in his presence. Especially not the harmless kind he probably wouldn’t have to put much effort into aside from simple scalding.

Stepping off into the city from his transportation, Lupus was dressed as usual in his cloak and wolf-like mask. The higher-ups had told him to scout around for information about a stolen arrow, as they think it may be connected to an evil Nen User. With a weary sigh, he started to wander the city and listen in on gossip and chatter. Something about a church? Well, it was better than nothing. Looking over the distance, he managed to spot what surely looked to be a church of some kind and began to make his way over. Unfortunately, his left arm was busted up and barely functional after a recent bar fight, and he wouldn't be able to use it too much for this little job.

As the group arrives to answer their call, an elderly priest patiently waits in front of a temple. He is dress in black robe with their religion symbol branded on the clothing. As he walks towards the group of heroes, he uses a cane to keep his balance upright. “Greetings heroes, thank you all for answering our call. We don’t know what we would of done without you.” The elderly man smiles with joy and lets out a small laugh.”[/b]
“Please, let me properly explain what is going on. There was an evil man years ago who tried to conquer our lands with his evil cult. He used some sort of magic to control animals and monsters! We had no way to stop them ourselves so we had to hire professional at the time, a Hunter. The hunter was brave, strong, and was famous. The man corners the cult and used some sort of magic of his own to split their unholy alter in two. His magic was so amazing that to this day, he is able to keep the monsters from ever returning. Since then, we’ve been doing a special ritual that we’ve instructed by the Hunter for years. However, on the night of the new moon, a relic for the ritual has gone missing! Unless we get that back, the monsters and the villain might return, so that where you all come in. We need you all to find out who did this and bring it back.”
The old priest reaches inside the robe and pulls out a map of the area. On the map, there is an area with a circle in red pen, empathizing something. “We’ve got some reports on vandals and shady looking people whose been going heading to this area. We don’t have the man power to send anyone there and the officials won’t send anyone either. Please, track these guys down and get our relic back before it too late!” The priest also gives out a picture of the relic, it’s some sort of golden disc with strange markings that no one has ever seen before, besides the priests of course.

Asuka Paid little attention to the speech but did look at the map and picture. He looked around the place for these 'Heroes' He saw quite a few people around somebody in a cloak, a man in a green hoodie walking towards him. Asuka Averts his attention to the man in the green hoodie. 'Hey would you happen to be one of those heros those priest were talking about.' Saying as he was walking towards the church it wouldnt be too much of a stretch but he did look Pretty unheroie.

Shinzu prepared to scald the priest. However, there was no opportunity to do so. The moment he approached, the religious figure in black robes immediately burst out into monologue. “I-If you must…” He stuttered as the priest began explaining. There was a lot of information to digest. Luckily, if there was thing Shinzu could do well, it was following instructions to the letter. “Is this some kind of charity treasure hunt? If so, I’m in. I assume there’s a prize?” Shinzu smiled, completely oblivious to the serious nature behind the task.
“This sounds cornier than the plot to a B- video game.” He thought to himself as he took the priest’s map and analysed it. Before he could ask any further questions, the teen in the wheelchair began to speak. As soon as he uttered the question, Shinzu seemed to blush before growing giddy. With a smile ear to ear, he scratched the back of his head and answered. “Hero? Me? No no. I’m simply a model citizen doing his best to keep the peace… But you can call me a hero if you like.” Laughing to himself, he set off towards the direction of where the map pointed. “Wanna do this together? Two heads are better than one.”

"That's not- No, it's not you, but I hope you're okay, little bro," Lupus thought, almost fixated on the person in the wheelchair throughout the entire spiel by the priest, so much that he barely paid any attention to the story. Shaking himself out of his daze, he moved to look at the map. It was a pretty decent sized area that the man had circled, or at least it'd be pretty large given the scaling. "We should split up and cover more ground that way, but we need a way to keep in contact if we do separate into groups. Either way, we don't have any time to waste if this is so important to the city," he suggested before sliding his mask up enough to expose his jaw as he pulled out a cigarette for a quick smoke to calm his nerves and think a bit more clearly about the information they had been given. After a bit of thought, he looked over toward the priest and announced as he went to barge his way into the temple, "I don't want to rule out any obvious leads, so I'm going to take a look around and do some questioning."

Mervyn quietly watched the situation from the backline, he was seen by the priest but it seemed like the other three had payed little attention to him, just after the others had received their map Mervyn thanked the priest for his own in silence. He saw a familiar form along the three people that were with him, it was Shinzy who he ended up drinking last night. The sailor smiled a little wondering if it be a good idea to go wave at the man or just wander around, wondering if there would be any clues in the church.
Mervyn was very curious to what was going on and what his best bet was going to be, he knew that if he activated his hatsu he could maybe use this to track the others, not that he could even read what was going on, just sense his own nen at a distance if they were gone. The sailor decided to step out of his comfort zone as he saw Shinzy chatting to a crippled man, was Shinzy volunteering today when running into the mission? Mervyn wasn't sure what was going on but decided to move up " Ey my drinking buddy!" he exclaimed rather louldy as he patted Shinzy on his shoulder " How have you been? any idea what is going on?" He asked before turning towards the cripple " hey there" he said before turning back to his drinking buddy wondering what was going to happen next.

@to the group that followed the map to the general location marked. For those that follow the direction on the map, everything is uneventful so far. They will quickly find themselves in a large forest. On the forest floor lie trees of yesteryear, fallen in storms long forgotten. The seasons have been harsh, stripping away the bark and outer layers, yet rendering them all the more beautiful. They have the appearance of driftwood, twisting in patterns that remind someone of seaside waves; even the color of the moss is kelp-like. They are soft, damp, yet if you touch, their fingers will be dry. They look closely; they will find several footprints perhaps belonging to the animals of the forest. If someone has the perception skill of level 1, they could make out that they were running away from something and from which general direction. If the group tilts their head upward to the trees, they will find the pines are several houses tall, reaching toward the golden rays of spring. Birdsong comes in lulls and bursts, the silence and the singing working together as well as any improvised melody. @to anyone who didn’t leave- Nothing happened. You didn’t do anything yet! ls95 The inside of the building is expensive; they spare no expense to deck it out. The church is large and is made an expensive material, glass windows with sort of goddess symbol made into the glass design. There is pews of benches with soft fabric for comfort for those that attend and shiny white tiles floor. The priests are busy muttering to themselves. As Lupus asks the priests for anything, they don’t have any new to add but more or less repeat what the priest in front of the building had said.

Lupus went to look around in the main area, trying to find any broken glass or scraped tiles, anything that could mark a forced entry. In the midst of his searching, he asked one of the nearby priests where this artifact was kept, and who in particular had access to it and where to find them. While waiting for an answer, he stayed within earshot for a casual conversation but went to examine the altar and some of the doors and windows a bit more closely.

Shinzu blinked as the guy with the metallic fox mask appeared behind his shoulder to glance at the map he was holding up for the group. “Hey dude… What’s with the face?” Shinzu seemed jealous. He was wondering if there was a cosplay convention going on somewhere that he had forgotten about. He was tempted to pull out his phone and double check his diary, but sadly he had already committed to the treasure hunt. There was nothing he could do even if a convention was nearby.
“Merv!” Shinzu smiled upon spotting the sailor. “Yeah – we are taking part in a roleplay themed treasure hunt. Gotta scout for the item somewhere in this marked region.” Shinzu held the map up while leading anyone that wished to follow towards the marked region. Very quickly, the area began to change into a densely populated forest. There even seemed to be animals in the area, though nothing noteworthy. Clueless, Shinzu picked a random direction and headed towards it. If the group scanned the area enough, they’d find something eventually.
