Ten [level 1-2]
Description: Allows the user to release and contain Nen around the body. Ten, is the process of keeping their nodes open. Its having their aura flow through and around the body. Once maintained, it feels like standing in lukewarm, viscous fluid. It reduces the aging process of the creature. It is the most basic defense attack Emotion Nen and it offers some protection against physical attacks. Can take up to level 1 of damage before any real damage to the body. Each level up, may increase how much damage they can take by 1 level.

Alma is a large man with a large body; he constantly trains himself, mentally and physically. He is sitting on the cold freezing floor with his legs cross over the other. His entire body is shivering from the bitter cold air as he meditates to warm himself up. He sits in a cold storage freezer to help condition his mind and stay focus.
His ten is activated, his Nen nod is open all over his body to help protect against the cold. His body feels like he is cover in lukewarm fluid, it slowly helps him warm up. His skin is stuck to the floor, making it hard to focus. He adjusts his legs by moving them around and picks them up off the cold floor and further focus.

He takes in deep breaths and exhale slowly, his breath can be seen with every take. His body trembles more from the cold but he shakes that feeling off as he further focus on his Ten training. Instead, he focuses his thoughts to his daughter. His thoughts are on how much she has grown and how much she looking more likes her mother.
Here and there, you can see Alma body twitches from not moving. His lips are still red and have not change color but his skin is losing coloring from the cold. The Nen technique can only hold out for so long before the cold become too much. Alma stays diligent, his body grows colder by the minute, but he stays focus on Ten

Alma moved from his spot, inside the cold store and left the room to warm up. He’s wrapped himself in a big winter cold and begins drinking hot chocolate to help himself. Even now, Alma has not stopped his Ten from being active which is helping him warm up even faster. His body is trembling, his teeth are chatting against one another, and his legs are shaking.
As time presses on, Alma body heat returns. His lips once purple now red and his body stopped shaking and his teeth still chatting a little. Now he sits in a sauna. Now his body builds up heat and fast while the sweat over his body begins to build up. The color in Alma lips begin to return to normal and soon, he completely hot and sweaty.

Inside Alma head, he is complaining about the heat, repeatedly. Before it was the cold in the freezer and now it the heat. The sweat pours down his body as he leans his head back. His aura covers him over as he focuses his Ten, but it flickers on and off due to the heat. Unlike before, his aura was necessary to help stay warm, this time it matters little, but the focus is a must.
After all there no point in this otherwise. Alma grabs his water bottle and drinks it down to cool off a bit. His ten still active but flicker on and off because it so hot and makes it so hot to focus. The heat makes it hard to even have any energy; he sighs out hard and sits back down. He keeps his aura going and slowly extends it outwards more.

Alma paces around the room and sigh out harder than before in the heat as his aura keeps going. In his mind, he can only think of getting out and cooling off. Maybe he go and watch t.v or something while cooling off but alas, he must keep going to torture himself. His pacing continues, only stopping when he needs to drink some water so he does not pass out.
It feels like hours or days even for him being in the hot sauna, he paces around and then he seats down. He gets up after several minutes to drink more water. His aura is becoming stabilized and rarely flickers off and on, but it still very exhausting with the heat. A loud beeping noise can be heard and Alma steps out with a towel himself, “finally.”

Now that he is cool off and everything, his next portion of training is rest. As a man who has a large body with muscles all over, he knows the importance of resting when needed. He had taken a nice and cool shower where he properly cleans himself off. Afterwards, he spent some time reading one of his favorite books on fantasy genre.
Once finish, he took a nap to get some proper rest on his body. His nap took much longer than he had planned, his body begin using Ten while sleeping so he used up more nen than usual. By the time he woke up, he felt just as exhausted as he carries himself out around his house, he looks into the mirror and finally notice he been using nen without realizing it.

His entire body if groggy and he rests even more. He drags himself all over his house, trying to gather energy and be able to keep going. He lets out a loud yawn and tries to watch t.v but it nothing on, of course he mutters to himself. So, he goes out to the local pool and tries to channel his Ten around himself.
His ten surrounds him and the aura becomes calming to his mind. He uses just a small amount of Ten to keep it all up. His breathing is very shallow and rapid. Then, he switches to slow and deep breaths. He keep this up and his energy slowly comes back. The others in the pool glances at him and just avoid him.

Alma Nen aura utilizes by the Ten skill, shrouds Alma as he free stroke through the pool. Alma continues to swim through the liquid while keeping his aura ongoing. Mult-tasking is not Alma best suit, as he needs to lift his head to inhale but with his aura, he messes up and screws everything. Alma has a hard time trying to deal with both and it just a disaster.
He sighs harshly as he takes a breath and rests with a bottled water to drink from. Some of the local females eye him, giggling to themselves. He lifts his hand up and smiles, he waves at them to be polite. Then he dives right back into the pool for a breaststroke. His Ten is fully active as he swims from one end to the other.

Alma finish his swim and wrap himself with his tower, to prevent himself from getting gold, he has his aura ongoing. The aura allows him to build heat in his body much quicker and become dry. The aura expands from his toes, his legs, his body, arms, fingers, his neck, and even his head. Preventing his body temperature to drop and to prevent his lips from changing color.
He gets into his clothes and walks very slowly on his way home, his muscles are completely expanded, his nen is going full blast. The idea is to increase some muscle endurance and Nen endurance. With all of that being said, he looks weird while walking him. The laughter even from girls is not the type he wants, well he rarely does, he taken.

10. His Ten has grown quite a bit, it much stronger than previously but there been a few setbacks. For starters, it taken him much longer than he planned to grow much stronger; mentally and physically he is tired and drain from training it so much. Now he sits under a waterfall, his Ten is active to protect and keep him warm.
His aura glows all around him as he keeps his breathing steady. The pressure of the water is harsh, making it hard to keep his Ten active. His muscles ache all over his body, it screams for a proper rest. He breathes at a very slow pace and finally, he broke through the limiter, his Ten expands outwards much greater than before. He gets to his feet, grabs his towel and head home to relax and rest.

Lilium looked up from her notebook as her father came back to the house. She calmly put her pencil down and shut the pages. She stared up at him with her slightly lighter, blue eyes, and give him a quick up-down. On her face rested a small frown, but that was more due to her nature than unhappiness.
"Where have you been?" she asked casually, rising from her seat on the couch and placing her notebook on the table.
"You already went to the gym today, did you go again?" she asked, observing how he held a towel and faintly smelled of sweat. He looked tense.

Alma sighs in content as he comes home, still drying off from being wet. His skin is still moist and the liquid drips from his body. The towel soaks up just about everything. As he enters, he finds his young daughter asking where he has been this time. “No, meditating under the waterfall.” Alma takes the towel and places it into dirty clothes basket. Alma looks at his daughter for a moment and says nothing. Suddenly, his Ten aura flares up, but he still says nothing but merely watches Lilium reaction.

Lilium's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "...waterfall?" she asked, her expression changing from questioning to worried. She knew her father was not a professional karate student or something, so what possible reason could he have for training under a waterfall? Had be been consumed with the stress of raising her, to the point of trying ancient techniques to try to quell his stress? Alma did not respond. Instead, Lil was met with a pressure in the air around her. It was forceful, but it did not seem particularly harmful. Instinctively, Lilith felt her own energy flare up and surround her, forming almost a small protective barrier. Her energy was weaker than the other force, and she struggled to push it away. Her eyes darted up to her father in worry, looking at him for reassurance. "...What's happening?" she asked.

“Yes, a waterfall, lots of positive thoughts, think about life, self-criticism and so on. The idea is to build the mind and free mind, Lily.” Alma Ten aura is flare up and still going. Just as he flares it up, he can feel Lilium Ten flaring in response. He grins and nods his head, “Ah, so you can use it, but doesn’t like you’re aware of it or able to control it.”
Of course, he had use Ren instead, things might have become dangerous and if done without warning, might have hurt her. “Oh Lily, build the mind, free the mind. Build your Nen, free your nen. I simply activate the skill known as Ten, which creates a protective aura around oneself. To think you have already awoken to Nen.” Alma stands there, observing Lilium aura a bit.

Alma, that Alma, was preaching about self-improvement and sanctity of the mind? Him, who always led on women much older than him in order to garner favor? Him, who spent the first eight years of her life virtually nonexistent? That Alma was now preaching about self-criticism? Furthermore, what was this nonsense about nen, ten, and protective auras?
Lilium rose from her seat, suddenly angry. Was this even really her father that had just walked into the door? Spouting nonsense and emitting a strange presence. She would have sooner believed that a demon had waltzed into her domain, with a terrifying aura and bizarre words.
"You're acting like even more of an idiot than usual." she said with hostility, urging her own aura to fight back against his. Instinctively, she pushed it outwards, battling his overwhelming presence.
